Privacy Policy

This policy describes what XnaksView collects and how it is used, based on how the app actually works today.

What we collect

• Account details: the name, username, email and profile photo from the sign-in provider you use (Google or Facebook), plus the bio and profile changes you make.
• Content you create: videos, captions, comments, likes, saves, shares and follows.
• Security information: the device model, Android version and last-active time for each device you sign in on, so you can review and remove devices in Settings.
• Account region: the country detected from your SIM or network when your account is first used. It is set once and can only change after the server has observed a different country for 90 days.
• Activity signals: which videos you watch, skip or rewatch. These are used to rank your For You feed and stay on your device.
• View counts: when you watch another creator's video or open their profile, a record with your account is created so the creator can see totals in Analytics. If you turn off Viewer history in Settings, your profile visits are not recorded.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show ads; the ad-related settings have no effect yet.

Who processes data

XnaksView runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage) and uses LiveKit for LIVE streaming. These providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices

• Settings and privacy lets you make your account private, control who can comment or mention you, block or mute accounts, and hide your following and liked lists.
• Download your data exports what we hold about you.
• Deactivate or delete account removes your profile and posts.
